Ricardo Lira Acuña aka Ricky Luv was born and raised on the U.S./Mexico border in Nogales, Arizona and earned his BA from Stanford University in English and French Literatures and his MFA from Columbia University in Screenwriting, with Honors.
He has written and produced the PBS award-winning short film L.A. NOIR. He has published the graphic novel
THE REALM, and two books of poetry and photography, UNDER THE INFLUENCE and GREETINGS FROM HEAVEN AND HELL.
He is drunk on Bukowski, high with a little help from his friends, on the road with Keroauc, fear & loathing with Gonzo & Buffalo Brown, lost in The Twilight Zone, office zombie by day, writer by night.
